Artist Statment
I create without being asked by anyone, just absorbed in it. Just having fun.
That is and always has been my free time.
I feel especially free with my paintings.
My own way, my own world,
The place I have come to is "simple is best," lines and colors that will remain in people's memories at a glance,
Large paintings. I express my emotions simply: happy, sad, bright, dark, tense, relaxed, and so on.
Black ink that dances and flows in a unique way that cannot be controlled by one's will.
Minimizing lines to the bare minimum, omitting extraneous information to make the work stand out. I named this "black flow.
After drawing a rough sketch on a small piece of paper, I cut a large copy of the sketch on a piece of cardboard and sprayed it with a can sprayer to create a masking. This process was named "Cardboard Screen.
This process is also "simple is best," my way of doing things.
My ultimate goal is that my paintings simplify and ease the viewer's mind.
I will continue to paint my art simply with these two words in mind: "Idea" and "Thank you.
"I want to deliver a Japanese origin cuteness born from my pursuit of art."
